On this flight, its final flight, the beast regards the world below with a somewhat sad and pensive expression before landing on the precipice of its mountain home. Inside, the dark lair is illuminated by the shimmering gold of its hoarded treasure. A safe haven, away from thieves and prying eyes. The dragon coils itself around its treasure one last time before slipping into its eternal slumber.
