Hand-signed A4 print on 220gsm white parchment.
During the darkest months of the year, the eerie white mare appears. Adorned in a variety of decorations, draped in a white sheet and crowned with a horse's skull is the Mari Lwyd, the midwinter pagan tradition of Wales. She travels from house to house at dusk, challenging people to a battle of wits through poetry. Fail and she enters, where she is given a warm welcome, food and hopefully an alcoholic drink.
